The Pipers' Gathering
Billed as “a meeting place for alternative bagpipers”, the 2023 Pipers'
Gathering blew into Litchfield, Connecticut for three days and nights of workshops, talks, concerts, jam sessions, fettling, and general camaraderie over the second weekend in August. More than 50 people in all attended the Gathering, held since 2014 at the Wisdom House Retreat and Conference Centre, set in the rolling hills of western Connecticut. Although largely attracting participants from the Northeast, a small contingent of Midwesterners were also in attendance.
